«I AM YOU ARE»

In December 2014 and April 2015 young Israeli, Palestinian and German musicians and poets took part in a one of a kind exploration of the past, present and future. Living and working together for one week at the Willy Brandt Center in Jerusalem and one week in Berlin, participants of the project explored music, poetry and spoken word as tools for citizen empowerment and social change.
All songs, poems and texts on this album are original compositions by project participants. Young people from the Middle East and from Germany are speaking out against racism and discrimination.Beyond walls and conflicts, this is a celebration of diversity!
